21. Sabho Ja Musi Nani Ajitogilwe Kukila Ho- Ngosha Nulu Nkima?

Banhu bhabhili bhakihalalija nani atogilwe sabho, bhangi bhuhaya giki, “Bhagosha tujitogilwe.” Bhangi bhuhaya bha mayu bhajitogilwe kukila ho.”

Mu halali yabho bhung’witana ngosha umo, ntumami wabho bhung’wila, twagayiwa maninga ga nkima ga kusanja mu bhugota. (nulu lubhango nulu ki) giko bhung`wila umulage nke wako, tukwinhe shikolo.”

Ngosha uzunya nahene. Aho washika kukaya usumbhilwa na nke, ugishiwa chiza chiza, winhwa minzi ga koga, uzugilwa na shiliwa shawiza wiza.

Aho wamala kulya wandya kwidedeng’hanya, “Nke wane wanitila chiza, namulage, yaya no, ulu kunipeja mu milimo bhanipejage.” Huna lulu ubhuka ushika hangi kumilimo yake. Ushika ung’wila ngonzo wakwe. “Bhabha naduma kumulaga nke wane bhuhaya. Bhasi ati na mhayo ya shilaga, bhubhona kuli ngosha tatindwa.

Tulole kwipande lya bhakima. Bhung’witana nkima aliyela yela haho, bhung’wila, “Twagayiwa mininga ga ngosha ga kusanja mu bhugota.” Nu bhebhe mayu ulibhona kinahe udugije kumulaga ngoshi wako. Utenhele mininga tukwinhe shikolo.

Ubhuja giki iki igosha nakulibhulaga kinahe? Tukukwinha mawalwa makoji, ulu ugang`wa ulu ukumona gankola. Unsinza na kunsinza.” Bhasi, nkima uzunya winhwa walwa wenubho. Untwalila ngoshi, aho wabhung’wa bhunkola ng`hana, usola lushu ubhuta ntwe. Bhasi, ukingilija amininga huna ugabhucha ubhatwalila mininga nu ntwe. Kihamo bhagosha nabho bhung’wanukula. Wabeja mayu huna lulu uwilwa nzugu wigashe kunu mayu, tukwenhele shikolo shako. Ulekwa kuchumba, bhanikili bhutula simu ku polisi.

Kiswahili: Mali Za Duniani Nani Anazipenda Zaidi- Mwanaume Au Mwanamke?

Watu wawili walibishana juu ya nani anapenda mali zaidi kati ya wanaume na wanawake. Wengine walisema kwamba, “Wanaume wanapenda mali zaidi kuliko wanawake. Lakini wengine walisema, kuwa, “Wanawake wanapenda mali kuliko wanaume.”

Katika mabishano hayo, walimwita mwanamume mmoja, mfanyakazi wao, wakamwambia, “tumekosa damu ya mwanamke ya kuchanganya kwenye dawa.” (Au Baraka au nini), hivyo wakamwambia, amuue mke wake, wampe mali au kitu.

Mwanamume huyo alikubali, “sawa.” Alipofika nyumbani, alipokelewa na mke wake, akasalimiwa vizuri, akapewa maji ya kuoga, akapikiwa chakula kizuri.

Alipomaliza kula, alianza kufikiri, “Mke wangu amenifanyia vizuri, nimuue, hapana kabisa, kama nikunifukuza kazini wanifukuze.” Ndipo akafika tena kwenye kazi yake. Akafika na kumwambia mwajiri wake. “Baba nimeshindwa kumuua mke wangu,” wakasema, basi “haina neno yameisha.” Wakaona kwamba, kwa mwanamume wameshindwa.

Tuangalie kwa upande wa akina mama. Wakamwita mwanamke aliyekuwa akitembea tembea hapo, wakamwambia, “Tumekosa damu ya mwamume ya kuchanganya kwenye dawa. Na wewe mama unaonaje unaweza kumuua mume wako, utuletee damu tukupe mali au kitu?”

Akauliza kwamba, “kwa vile ni mwanamume nitamuuaje?” Wakamwambia, “tutakupa pombe kali, akinywa na kama ukimuona amelewa. Umchinje.” Basi yule mwanamke akakubali, akapewa pombe hiyo.

Alimpelekea mmewe, alipokung’wa ikamlewesha kweli, alichukua kisu akamkata kichwa. Basi, alikinga damu ndipo akabeba akawapelekea damu na kichwa pamoja, na wanaume nao wakampokea.

Wakasema, “asante mama wakamwambia njoo ukae huku mama, tukuletee mali yako.” Akaachwa chumbani, wenyewe wakapiga simu ya kuita polisi.

ENGLISH: WHO LOVES MORE THE WORLD PROPERTY – MALE OR WOMAN?

Two people argued about who likes more property than the other between men and women. Others said, “Men love more wealth than women. But others said, that, “Women love property more than men.”couple-

In the dispute, they called one man, their employee, and said, “We have missed blood of a mixing in medicine.” (Or Bless or what), so they told him that he should kill his wife, so that they give him wealth or something.

The man agreed, “Ok.” When he arrived home, he was welcomed, well greeted, given water to bath, and well fed by his wife.

When he had finished eating, he began to think, “My wife has done well for me, why should I kill her, absolutely not, if they want to get me out of work and let them drive me out.”  He then came back to his job again. He came and told his employer. “Daddy I have not been able to kill my wife,” they said, then “there’s no word gone.” They found out that, to the man they had failed.

Look at the mother’s side. They called a woman who was walking around, saying, “We have missed the blood of a man for mixing it in medicine. What do you think can you kill your husband, and bring us such blood, we will give you property or something?”

She asked, “How can I kill a man?” They said, “We will give you a lot of alcohol for him to drink it and if you see that he has drunk, slaughter him.” So the woman agreed, she was given the alcohol.

She sent to her husband, when he had drunk seriously, she took a knife and cut off his head. So she blocked blood and carried it to them and head together, and the men also received her.

They said, “thank you mother and told her   ‘stay here mother, let us bring you your property.” She was left in the room, and they called the police.

20. Ngosha Na Nke

Oliho ngosha umo na nke, bhalina na kaya yabho. Ikale ubhusabhi bholibhulambu. Bhagabhiza bhilukilwa bhupandika ng’ombe ibhili na bhana bhubyala bhabhili. Ng’wana ng’waniki na nyanda. Lushiku lumo ungosha uhaya, unene nke wane naje kubhadugu bhane. Nkima adalemile ngosha unzunilija.

Ngosha uyo ubhuka ajile, aho waja ungosha uyo nkima okwe ukunu kaya ulota ung`wana okwe nyanda agayaga. Nkima uyo akabhiza na mayange no. Nose ikabhiza omona namhala omuchalo jinijo ung’wila umo olotelaga. Namhala agang’wila, olotaga shibhi giki bhuli, ilidakilwa ung’wana ng’wenuyo umulagile ng’ombe yajililo.

Nang’hana nkima ng’wenuyo akamulagila ng’ombe yajililo yusaga ng’ombe imo. Aho wakashoka ngosha ng’wenuyo uko olioja. Aho oshika aho kaya uponya iliso ubhona ng`ombe imo, ubhuja. “Ing`ombe iyingi yajaga he?” Nkima ung’wila igashaga duguwile. Ngosha agigasha.

Nkima ung’wila, ulushiku lwene wingilaga nagalota jiloti jagiki, ng’wana wane wagayaga unyanda mnagabhiza na mayange no. Nose numona namhala nung’wila umo nalotelaga. Aho nang’wila nawe uniwila olotaga shibhi giki, ulidakilwa ung’wana ng’wenuyo umulagile ng’ombe yajililo, una lulu ng’ombe iyimo dibhulaga yajililo ja ng`wana wane.

Ngosha agang`wila, ubhebhe nkima wane udina masala nulu mado. Bhanga osanga bhalotaga jiloti duhu bhugabhulaga na ng’ombe! Ubhebhe nkima dulekanile amasala nunene. Naje nane nagachole abha masala giti game.

Ngosha akabhuka uja kujuchola abha masala giti gakwe. Aho oshika ng’wipolu umona nkima umo, ungisha, uzunya mhola, ngosha umuja unkima ng’wenuyo ulitaki ahenaha? Nkima ng’wenuyo ung’wila nalilinda jigila aho bhachila bhatemi na bhagole. Ngosha umuja galihe? gayuko, hama lulu nani agagulolaga ulu omisha mhola? Nkima uyomba akizaga ngole onilola.

Ngosha ubhita ajile, aho obhita ujajaja duhu wibhisa mumasaka. Aho wila ubhujiku, ngosha uzula imyenda yakwe usaga duhu, usumula ajile ha jigila ja ntemi. Agasimba simba wijika ukulubhala. Aho wela wiza ngole kunola unkima ng’wenuyo ulu olalaga mhola.

Aho wegela aha majigila ulolela giti munhu ogunya hoyi ubhitila ajile aho agalalaga unkima ng’wenuyo. Aho wegela umuja, bhebhe liki lyagunyaga giti munhu? Nang’hwe ung’wila nadinalola hoyi, dujage lulu, aho bhagaluka giki bhaja bhumona umbehi wimila igulya yajigila bhuja bhung’wegela bhumuja ubhebhe ofumila he? Nang`hwe ubhawila nafuma mujigila gubhambati na mbati pye abhatemi abho bhacha ubhayomba ukunu aliduhu. Bhubhiza bhamponekeja ng’wenda.

Aho witunga bhumuja, ubhebhe uli ntemi nani? Nang’hwe uyomba, nali ntemi mbati. Uyomba lina lya ntemi uyo ocha. Haho na haho bhung’wila dujage kaya lulu. Bhubhuka bhajile ng’hana. Aho bhashika ikaya aho ng’wa ntemi bhusanga untemi winga oja bhugeni. Bunsanga unke ontemi bhung’wila, ung’wenuyu ntemi mbati. Nasanga ojukukaga lelo.

Nkima ontemi ukumya no, ubhawila abhana bhakwe gumulagila ng’ombe yagulya untemi ng’wenuyo. Nang`hwe uhaya kajagi najile unene. Bhandya kuzuga na gung’winha hela ningi noyi pye namamyenda. Aho olya, uja ashokile kaya.

Aho winga duhu ung’winikili kaya untemi nawe ushika. Ubhuja, ing’ombe yiniyi ng`wamulagilaga nani? Nkima uyomba igashaga duguwile. Ntemi wigasha uwilwa nu nkima, damulagilaga ntemi mbati uyo oliocha ujuguka. Ntemi ung’wila unkima okwe, ubhebhe uli nkima udina masala! Osanga munhu ojukukaga. Oja he? Nkima ung’wila oja kaya, hamo ihaha oshika kule.

Ntemi upaga nzobhe yakwe unfata. Nzobhe yandyagupela no mpaga ungosha ng’wenuyo yung’wegela. Nawe aho olola inuma ubhona nzobhe ilinfata umana gashi nafatagwa ayibhuja kimba nite ginehe, gashi oganoga ulolela ngosha agulimaga. Aho omona ubhuka ajile ho. Ukashika ho ung’wila giki, nkoyi ilelo himba ling’witulo, hama bhalitulwa no nu ntemi. Nkoyi lulu nagupije, nhaga iligembe unene nalime, ubhebhe jaga ugalinhe aho linti lyenilo, unene ulu alanisange nakung’wila nali ngeni.

Ngosha uyo uzunya ung’winha iligembe ngosha ng`wenuyo uja ukalinha. Ntemi adadilile ubhulung’hanya unsanga ngosha uyu akulimaga wiza umuja. Omonaga ngosha alina nigo? Ngosha ng’wenuyo ung’wila giki, iti ng’wene uyo namonaga agulinhaga umo linti lyenilo jaga ukanole, nhaga nagudimilije inzobhe yako.

Ntemi ung’winha. Ntemi ubhuka ajile kujulinha, aho wandya kulinha, ngosha uonzobhe uibhakila na kwilekela yandya kupela. Ntemi aho olabhula inuma wibhona inzobhe yandya kupela.

Agakumya no na kuhaya gashi unkima one alina masala nayungwibhonelaga duhu. Haho na haho untemi wandya kunyamuka kaya. Aho wegela hakaya, bhahakaya bhunolela agushimizaga bhiwila himba ilelo kinehe. Aho oshikila bhumuja ginehe bhabha yabhizaga ginehe nayi?

Ntemi uhaya lyehagi nifule nakumuwila. Aho wifula ubhawila giki bhadugu bhane inzobhe yane nanyang’hanyiwe naling’wana, lyunilemba lemba lyisola. Nkima one nalikulomba unilekeje gete. Gashi nu nene natina masala. Ngosha ng’wenuyo nawe uonzobhe aho okashika uko ng’wakwe, ung’wila unke giki. Ihaha lulu nke wane ditolage duhu nguno nabhonile bhangi abha nduhu masala giti bhebhe, gashi bhali bhingi.

Kiswahili: Mwanamume Na Mke Wake

Alikuwepo mwanaume mmoja na mke wake walikuwa na familiya yao. Zamani utajiri ulikuwa mgumu. Walipata bahati ya kupata ng’ombe wawili na wakazaa watoto wawili. Msichana na mvulana. Siku moja mwanaume alisema, “mke wangu mimi naenda kwa ndugu zangu. Mwanamke hakukataa alimkubalia mume wake.

Mwanaume huyo alianza safari yake. Alipoenda mke wake huko nyuma aliota kwamba mtoto mvulana amefariki. Mwanamke huyo alikuwa na mahangaiko mno. Mwishowe ikawa amemuona mzee wa hapo kijijini akamueleza alivyoota. Mzee akamwambia, “umeota vibaya hivi, inatakiwa umchinjie ng’ombe mtoto huyo ya kilio.”

Kweli mwanamke huyo alimchinjia ng’ombe ya kilio akabakiwa na ng’ombe mmoja tu. Aliporudi mwanaume huyo huko alikoenda akaona ng’ombe mmoja tu alipotupa jicho lake zizini. Akauliza, “Ng’ombe mwingine ameenda wapi?” Mwanamke alimwambia, “kaa tukuambie.” Mwanaume akakaa.

Mwanamke alimsimulia, “siku ile uliyoondokea niliota ndoto ya hivi, mtoto wangu amefariki yule mvulana na nilikuwa na mahangaiko mno. Mwishowe nikamuona mzee mmoja na kumsimulia nilivyoota.” Nilipomwambia naye akaniambia, “umeota vibaya hivi, unatakiwa umchinjie ng’ombe ya kilio mtoto huyo,” ndipo nikamuua ng’ombe huyo kwa kumlilia mwanangu.”

Mwanamume alimwambia, “wewe mke wangu huna akili hata kidogo. Umekuta wangapi wameota ndoto tu wakaua na ng’ombe!” Wewe mwanamke tumetofautiana akili na mimi. Naenda nikatafute mwenye akili kama zangu.

Mwanaume alifunga safari kwenda kutafuta wenye akili kama zake. Alipofika porini alimuona mwanamke mmoja akamsalimia, akakubali salama. Mwanaume akamuuliza mwanamke huyo, “Unafanya nini hapa?” Mwanamke huyo akamwambia, “nalinda makaburi walipozikwa wafalme na wake zao.” Mwanaume akauliza, “yako wapi?” Mwanamke akajibu, “hayo huko”. Akauliza, “nani huwa anakuja kukuona kama umeamka salama?” Mwanamke alisema, “Huwa anakuja mke wa mfalme kuniangalia.”

Mwanaume huyo, alipita akiendelea na safari yake. Alipopita akaenda kidogo tu akajificha vichakani. Usiku ulipoingia, mwanaume huyo, alivua nguo zake akabaki uchi. Akaenda kwenye kaburi la mfalme. Akachimba na kujizika huku akibakisha mwili nje kwa kuinama. Kesho yake, akaja mke wa mfalme kumuona mwanamke huyo kama amelala salama.

Alipokaribia kwenye makaburi aliona kama mtu ametokeza pale akapita akiendelea na safari yake kwenda pale anapolala yule mwanamke.  Alipokaribia aliuliza, “wewe nini kimetokeza kama mtu? Naye akamwambia, “sijaangalia pale, twende basi.” Walipogeuka kuelekea kuona ni nini, wakamuona jamaa amesimama juu ya kaburi wakaenda wakamkaribia wakamuuliza, “wewe umetoka wapi?” Naye akawaambia, “nimetoka kwenye kaburi kwa akina Fulani na Fulani wafalme wote waliokufa akawataja huku akiwa uchi. Wakawa wamemtupia nguo.

Alipojifunga wakamuuliza, “Wewe ni mfalme nani?” Naye akasema, “Ni mfalme Fulani.” Alisema jina la mfalme aliyekufa. Baada ya kusema hivyo tu, walimwambia waende nyumbani. Kweli wakaanza safari yao. Walipofika nyumbani kwa mfalme wakakuta mfalme ameondoka kwenda ugenini. Wakamkuta mke wa mfalme wakamwambia, “huyu ni mfalme Fulani. Nimekuta amefufuka leo.”

Mke wa mfalme alishangaa mno. Akawaambia watoto wake kumchingia ng’ombe wa kula mfalme huyo. Naye akasema, “fanyeni haraka mimi naenda.” Wakaanza kupika na kumpa hela nyingi mno na nguo. Alipokula, alianza safari ya kurudi nyumbani.

Alipoondoka tu mwenye nyumba yule Mfalme naye alifika. Akauliza, “ng’ombe huyu mmemchinjia nani?” Mwanamke akasema, “kaa tukuambie.”  Mfalme alikaa akaambiwa na mwanamke, “tumemuulia mfalme Fulani yule aliyekufa amefufuka.” Mfalme akamwambia mke wake, “wewe ni mwanamke usiye na akili! Umekuta mtu amefufufka. Ameenda wapi?” Mwanamke alimwambia, “ameenda nyumbani, labda sasa atakuwa amefika mbali.”

Mfalme alipanda punda wake kumfuata yule mtu. Punda alianza kukimbia sana mpaka yule mwanaume akamkaribia. Naye alipoangalia nyuma, aliona punda akimfuata, akaelewa kuwa kumbe anafuatwa alianza kujiuliza hajui afanye nini, mwishowe, alimuona mwanaume anapalilia palizi.

Alipomuona alianza safari kwenda pale. Akafika pale akamwambia hivi, “Jamaa yangu, leo sijui kuna nini, watu wanakimbia, wanapigwa na mfalme. Bwana, basi, nikusalimishe, nipe jembe mimi nilime, wewe uende ukapande kwenye mti huo, mimi akinikuta nitamwambia kuwa, mimi ni mgeni.

Mwanaume huyo, alikubali akampa jembe mwanaume huyo akaenda kupanda mtini. Haukupita mda mrefu mfalme akatokeza na kumkuta mwanaume yule anayelima akaja kumuuliza. “Umemuona mwanaume ana mzigo?” Mwanaume yule alimwambia kwamba, “Siyo yule huyo niliyemuona akipanda kwenye mti huo, nenda ukamwamgalie, nipe punda wako nikusaidie kushikilia.”

Mfalme akampa na kuanza safari ya kwenda kupanda. Alipoanza kupanda, mwanaume yule wa punda alipanda akamwachia akaanza kukimbia. Mfalme alipoangalia nyuma, akamuona punda ameanza kukimbia.

Alishangaa mno na kusema, “kumbe mke wangu ana akili nilikuwa namuonea tu.” Wakati huo mfalme akaanza kurudi nyumbani. Alipokaribia nyumbani, wakamuona kwa mbali akitembea, wakaambiana, sijui leo vipi. Alipofika wakamuuliza “vipi baba kwani imekuaje?”

Mfalme akasema, “subirini nipumzike nitawaambia.” Alipopumzika aliwaambia hivi, “ndugu zangu punda wangu nimenyang’anywa na yule jamaa, akanidanganya na kumchukua. Mke wangu nakuomba unisamehe kabisa. Kumbe na mimi sina akili.”

Mwanaume yule wa punda naye alipofika nyumbani kwake, alimwambia mke wake, “Sasa mke wangu, tuoane tu kwa sababu nilishaona wengine ambao hawana akili kama wewe, kumbe wako wengi.”

ENGLISH: MAN AND HIS WIFE

There was one man and his wife. They had their family. Long time ago getting wealth was hard. They were lucky to get two cows and had two children a Girl and a boy. One day a man said, “My wife I go to my brothers. The woman did not refuse the idea of her husband. She accepted it.african family.jpg

The man started his journey. When he went his wife back there dreamed that the baby boy had died. The woman was very anxious. At last she saw an old man in the village to whom she explained her dream. An elder said to her, “You have so badly dreamed, you have to slaughter the calf for the baby.”

The woman truly slaughtered the cow and left only one cow. When the man returned where he went, saw that a cow was missing. He asked, “Where did another cow go?” The woman said, “Let’s tell you.” The man stayed.

The woman told him, “On the day when you left me I dreamed about this, my baby, the boy died, and I was very anxious. Finally I saw an old man and told him what I dreamed. “When I told him what I dreamed and he said to me,” You have dreamed so badly, you have to slaughter a cow for the baby’s cries, “and I killed the cow for crying to my son.”

The man said to her, “you my wife you do not have even little intelligence. How many people have you seen only dreamed and killed a bull and a cow! “You woman, your mind differs with mine. I am going to look for the one who has the mind as mine.

A man made a trip to find out the same as his own. When he arrived at a sertan place he saw a woman and greeted her, and she agreed to be safe. The man asked, “What are you doing here?” The woman said to her, “I am guarding the graves when the kings and their wives were buried.” The man asked, “Where are they?” The woman replied, “There they are.” She asked, “Who is coming to see you as you have waken up safe?” “The woman said,” There is a king’s wife coming to see me.”

The man passed by on his way. When he went, he went a little and hid himself in the bush. When the night came in, the man, stripped off his clothes and remained naked. He went to the king’s tomb. He digged and sat down and kept the body out by lying. The next day, the king’s wife came to see her asleep in safety.

As he approached the cemetery she saw as if he had passed away when he went on his way to the place where he slept. As she approached, she asked, “What has appeared like a man? They said, “I have not looked there, but let us go.” When they turned to what they saw, they saw the fellow standing on the tomb and approached him and asked, “Where did you come from?” He said to them, “I have come from the tomb to so and so and all the dead kings, he named them while been naked. They were throwing clothes to him.

When he closed himself, they asked him, “Who king are you?” And he said, “I am a king somebody.” He said the name of the dead king. After saying this, they told him to go home. Really they started their journey. When they came to the king’s house they found the king left for exile. And they found the king’s wife, and said unto him, this is a king. I found him awakened today. “

The king’s wife was very surprised. She told her children to slaughter for him a cow to eat the king. And he said, “do so quickly I am going.” They started to cook and give him lots of money and clothes. As soon as he got up, he started the journey home.

As soon as he left, the King’s householder arrived. The king asked, “For whom have slaughtered that cow?” The woman said “Sit let us tell you.” The king sat and she told, “We have killed a cow for a dead King who has been raised.” The king said to his wife, “You are a senseless woman! Have you found someone raised up. Where did he go? “The woman said to her,” He has gone home, maybe he will be far away.”

The king climbed his donkey to follow the man. The donkey began to run so fast enough to catch as he approached him. When that man looked back, he saw a donkey following him, and realized that if he was followed. He began to think himself on what to do, at last, he saw a man weeding on the floor.

When he saw him he started to go there. When he got there he said, “My relative, today I do not know what, people run away, beaten by the king. Lord, then, let me save you, and give me the hoe that I can weed, and you go to climb that tree, and if he gets to me, I will tell him that, I am a stranger.

The man, agreed and gave him the hoe and went to the fig tree. Not long after the king turned and found the man who was plowing came to ask him. “Have you seen a man with a load?” The man told him, “is that not the one I saw going up on the tree? Go and lay him down, give me your donkey to help you in holding it.”

The king gave him and started the journey to go to the tree. As he began to climb, the donkey grew up and left off and began to run. When the king looked back, he saw the donkey has begun to run.

 He was very surprised and said, “my wife is mentally careful, I humiliated her with no reason, I would only see her.” At that moment the king began to return home. As he came home, they saw him afar off walking, saying to one another, I do not know today. When he arrived, they asked him, “how is it dad, what has happened?”king-2.png

The king said, “Let the rest of my soul rest and I will tell you.” When he rested, he said to them, “My donkeys have been robbed by that fellow, and he deceived me and carried him away. I beg you my wife to forgive me completely. Or I’m not smart.”

When that man of the donkey arrived to his home, he said to his wife, “Now, my wife, let us just get together because I have seen some who do not have the same mind as you are, they are many.”

Yaliho kaya imo yalina bhana bhadatu bhayanda na nkima okanne, bhuwilwa ubhujiku aho jikome, nkima ubhawila, bhing’we bhayanda gashigaga malima, dujagi dugahambe mbiyu jise dugalime. Aho jazwa bhandya guhamba. Aho bhamala uguhamba bhigasha.

Umumpunga gupya, aho gopya, bhiwila ubujiku aho jikome ubhebhe nzuna wise intondo udime indama unyanda ohagati uwilwa gudima ng’ombe, unkulu obho uja kumpunga gujulola ulu jidulyaga inoni.

Usanga jigulyaga wandya gulinda gufuma saa imo. Aho yashiga saa inne lyushiga inoni ilo ligalyaga lyita kwa kwa. Aho olibhona itale no ogoha no na gupela uyomba unene nadulinda hangi. Uja kaya ugabhawila bhazunaye na mayu okwe, natalalinda hangi.

Uyomba uungi, nkulu wise ummpunga gushile, unene naguja ugujulinda. Aho wela uja ugalinda, gufuma saa imo, aho yashiga saa inne lyushiga inoni ilo ligalyaga umupunga lyita kwa kwa. uyomba noni ki iyi, nadulinda hangi uja kaya ugabhawila nkulone uyomba unene naguja nagalinde.

Aho wegela hamakwi uyomba isu igeni, nang’ho odunoja iyoka yalinamitwe mpungati aho oyomba isu igeni, lyumona na gunuma ngoshi ucha. Haho na haho iza noni yung’wanhila upila ulitema untwe.

Aho obhuka inzoka iliyomba isu igeni lyunuma hangi ucha. Iza hangi inoni yung’wanhila upila agalitema pye mitwe ulinyola iliyoka. Lyunjana uko malambo ga mpunga lyumuja omana lulu ikaya uyomba namana lyunjana mpaga kaya. Aho bhashiga bhuyomba oshiga unyanda, unina uyomba mlinilemba ng’wanone ojimila shigu ningi. Aho bhashiga inoni yubhawila, mayu unene namalaga umpunga gwing’we. Mayu ng’wene utogwa no inoni yuyomba nafuate nang’winga oko, ng’winga ufuatwa. Aho yang’wenha inoni yuyomba ninhagi uloya lone, inoni inhwa yushoga kaya.

Kiswahili: Familia Moja Ilikuwa Na Watoto Watatu: Wavulana Na Mwanamke

Kuliwepo na familiya mojo iliyokuwa na watoto watatu wavulana na mwanamke wanne. Waliambiwa usiku kwenye kikao cha jadi wakiwa wamezunguka moto, mwanamke aliwaambia, “nyie wavulana, kipindi cha kilimo kimefika. Twendeni tukapande mbegu zetu tukalime. Zilipoota walianza kupanda. Walipomaliza kupanda wakakaa.

Mazao ya mpunga yalikubali. Baada ya hapo, wakaambiana usiku kwenye kikao cha jadi wakati wakiota moto, “wewe mdogo wetu kesho uchunge ndama”. Mvulana wa katikati aliambiwa kuchunga ng’ombe, mama yao alienda kwenye mpunga kwenda kuangalia kama ndege hawali.

Alipoenda alikuta ndege wanakula akaanza kulinda kutoka saa moja. Ilipofika saa nne likafika lindege amabalo huwa linakula huku likifanya “kwa kwa.” Kwa vile lilikuwa kubwa mno, alipoliona aliogopa mno na kukimbia, akasema, “mimi silindi tena.” Akaenda nyumbani kuwaambia, wadogo zake na mama yake, “Sitalinda tena.”

Mwingine akasema, “kaka yetu, mpunga uishe! Mimi nitaenda kulinda. Kulipokucha, alienda kulinda, kuanzia saa moja, ilipofika saa nne, likafika lile lindege ambalo huwa linakula mpunga huku likifanya ‘kwa, kwa.’ Akasema, “ndege gani huyu, sitalinda tena,” akaenda nyumbani kuwaambia, “kaka yangu, mimi nitaenda kulinda.”

Kulipokucha alienda kulinda kuanzia saa moja. Ilipofika saa nne, lile lindege likafika linalokula mpunga huku likifanya ‘kwa kwa.’ Akasimama tu, mvulana, akasema, nirudi nyumbani nikatengeneze kamba. Alipofika nyumbani, alimwambia mama yake, na kaka zake, nimemuona ndege kwa hiyo, nitengeneze kamba. Kulipokucha, alienda na kamba akaenda kutega na kusubiria, yule ndege alifika akaja kukamatwa, akakimbia kwenda pale.

Alipofika pale, ndege yule mkubwa akasema, “usiniue nami nitakuja kukuponyesha. Alishangaa mno, “ndege gani huyu anaongea,” “naomba unisamehe sitakula mpumga. Ondoa unyoya wa katikati ule mrefu.” Akalifungulia akaondoa unyoya ule mrefu, likamwambia, “upeleke nyumbani ukauweke kwenye mpunga.” Ulipokauka, wakavuna, na kuujaza kwenye maghala yao yote, mpaka wakakosa mahali pa kuuweka.

Mdogo wao aliwaambia kaka zake, akakate miti ya kutengenezea ghala. Mama yao alisema, “wewe mvulana ni mdogo mno waambie kaka zako wakakate.” Mvulana akasema, “hata mimi natosha, kaka zangu hawajui kushona maghala.”

“Sawa nenda.” Akaenda siku ya kwanza, kutwa nzima, kesho yake akaenda tena kutwa nzima, na siku iliyofuata akaenda tena akaenda kupotea mpaka siku tatu yuko porini. Akamuona mwanamke mmoja wakati wa saa tatu asubuhi, akiwa na kibuyu akichota maji akamkuta pale akamsalimu. Aliomba maji akapewa. Alipokunywa alimuuliza, “Mama umeolewa?” Naye alijibu, “nimeolewa.” Naomba ukanipikie chakula, labla mme wako atakasilika.

Naye aliseama, “Mme wangu kwa sasa hayupo, huwa anakuja wakati wa saa kumi na mbili jioni, au saa kumi na moja,” “Twende nyumbani ukanipikie,” mwanamke alisema, mme wangu ni mkali mno, ataniua usiende nyumbani.

“Nifanya nini basi, nina njaa?” Mwanamke akajibu, “nenda mlimani, nitakuletea chakula huko.” Mwanamke akaenda kupika chakula akampelekea akala mwanaume huyo. Alipokula, alisema, “nataka tuoane nawe.” Mwanamke huyu alimwambia, “lala hapa, tutaona siku nyingine.”

Siku ya pili, alipeleka tena chakula, alipomaliza kula, mme wake alimwambia, “Twende.” Alienda mpaka nyumbani. Mwanamume alipofika aliingia ndani akatoka nje akaizunguka nyumba, akaelekea mashariki mpaka mbali, akarudi na kwenda tena kusini mpaka mbali, tena akarudi na akaja kuingia ndani nyumbani.

Wakatoka na mwanamke nje, wakaenda kujificha kwenye kuni. Mme wake akafika, akasema, “harufu ngeni,” akatoka nje akaizunguka nyumba akisema, “harufu ngeni, alifuata alikoanzia kwenda mmewe, mashariki akisema, harufu ngeni, akarudi akafuata tena magharibi, alikisema, “harufu ngeni.” Akarudi tena akisema, “harufu ngeni.”  Akafuata tena kusini, akisema, “harufu ngeni.” Akarudi tena akisema, “harufu ngeni.” Akafuata tena.

Alipokaribia kwenye kuni, akisema, “harufu ngeni.” Nawe umetuchosha, joka lenye vichwa saba, aliposema, “harufu ngeni,” likamuona na kumuuma mme wake akafa. Hapo hapo akaja ndege akamzomea, akapona akalikata kichwa.

Aliposimama, joka likasema, “harufu ngeni,” likamuuma tena akafa. Akaja tena yule ndege akamzomea akapona, akamkata vichwa vyote akalishinda lile joka.

Ndege alimwambia, “twende nyumbani, mwanamke na mwanaume wakapanda mgongoni mwa ndege huyo, akawapeleka kule anakokaa yule ndege, wakawa wageni wa yule ndege. Akawaambia “mvulana huyu aliniokoa alitaka kuniua. Akamuuliza, “unafahamu nyumbani?” Akasema, “sifahamu.” Yule ndege akasema, “twende basi nikupeleke.”

Yule ndege mkubwa, alimpeleka kwenye majaruba ya mpunga, akamuuliza, “umefahamu sasa nyumbani?” Akasema, “nimefahamu,” Akampeleka mpaka nyumbani.

Walipofika wakasema, “mvulana amefika,” mama akasema, “mnanidanganya mtoto wangu amepotea siku nyingi.”

Walipofika yule ndege mkubwa, aliwaambia, “mama mimi nilikuwa namaliza mpunga wenu.” Mama yule alifurahi mno. Yule ndege akasema, “nifuate na mkaa mwana wako.” Mkaa mwana akafuatwa. Yule ndege alipomleta alisema, “nipeni unyoya wangu.” Ndege yule akapewa unyoya wake akarudi nyumbani.

ENGLISH: ONE FAMILY HAD CHILDREN: THREE BOYS AND A GIRL

There was one family that had four children, three boys and a girl. They met during the night at a traditional session around the fire, where the woman told them, “Yes, boys, the agricultural season has come. Let’s go and scatter our seeds just a moment. When they arrived, they began to plant. When they finally got up they stayed.three-children

Rice earnings became a lot. Afterward, they talked during the night at a traditional session while they were sitting around the fire, “you little boy tomorrow take care of the calves.” A middle boy was told to take care of cattle, and their mother went to the paddy field to look if birds did not eat.

As she went, she found birds flying and began to guard from seven o’clock. At about four o’clock, the bird arried which ate while doing ‘kwa kwa.’ As it was too big, when she saw it she was very scared and ran away, saying, “I will not lookout again.” She went home to tell her children, “I will not go again.”

Another said, “Fellows, why should paddy get finished! I’m going to protect. In the autumn, he went to the guard, from about one o’clock to four o’clock, when the big bird came in to eat paddy while doing ‘kwa kwa.’ He said, “What a bird is this, I do not protect again,” he went home and told them, “my brothers, I will not go to protect.”

In the morning the other one went to protect from about one am. At about four o’clock, the bird arrived eating paddy while doing ‘kwa kwa.’ He only stopped, boy, he said, ‘let me go back home and make a rope.’ When he got home, he told his mother, and his brothers, ‘I have seen the bird, so, let me make a string.’ When it was daylight, he went up with a rope and sneezed and waited, and the bird arrived when it was arrested and he ran towards there.

When he got there, the big bird said, “do not kill me and I will heal you. Surprised, “what kind of bird does this one speak,” “I beg you to forgive me I will not eat the paddy. Get rid of the long fur furnace. “When he opened it, he removed the long feather, saying, “Take it home and put it in paddy.” When it sprouted, they harvested it, and filled it in all their warehouses, until they missed a place to put it.

Their younger brother told his brothers, and he should go to cut trees for making a warehouse for them. Their mother said, “You are too young, tell your brother to go and cut them.” The boy said, “Even if so I am enough, my brothers do not know how to sew the warehouses.”

“Ok, go.” He went the first day, all day long, the next day he went again for the whole day, and the following day he went on and disappeared. He got lost until three days in the woods. He saw a woman at about three o’clock in the morning, with a little water calabash around and found her where he greeted her. He asked for water to be given. When he drank, he asked, “are you married?” And she replied, “I am married.” Please I ask for a meal. Maybe your husband will be angry!

And she said, “My husband is not present, he comes at twelve o’clock in the evening, or at eleven o’clock,” “Let’s go home and cook for me,” she said, “my husband is very angry, he will kill me do not go home.

“What do I do then, I’m hungry?” The woman replied, “go to the mountain, and I will bring you some food there.” The woman went to cook a meal and sent it to the man. When he ate, he said, “I want to marry you.” The lady said to him, “sleep here, we will see each other another day.”

The next day, she sent again the food, after he had eaten, and her husband said, “Let’s go.” She went home. When the man came in and went out and went around the house, headed eastward and far away, returned and went back southward, and returned and came home.

They went out with a woman, to hide on the wood. Her husband came and surrounded the house, saying, “visitor smell,” he followed to the east, saying, guest smell, he returned to the west again, saying,” guest smell. “He came back and said,”guest smell. He went back to the south, saying, “guest smell.” He came back and said, “A guest smell.” He followed again.

As he reached the woods, saying, “Guest smell.” And you humiliated us, a seven-headed dragon, when he said, “Guest smell,” it saw him and bit him to death. Then came the big bird shouted at him, and he recovered and cut off head of the dragon.

When he stood, the dragon said, “Guest smell,” it bit him again and died. Once again the bird came to him and healed, he cut off all the heads and defeated the dragon.

The bird told him, “Let’s go home, the woman and the man climbed to the back of that big bird. It took them to the place where it lived, and became the guests of that bird. The bird said to them, “This boy saved me and wanted to kill me. He asked, “Do you know at home?” He said, “know.” The bird said, “Let’s go and let let me sent you there.”

The big bird took him to paddy farms, and asked, “Do you know now at home?” He said, “I do not know,” it took him home.

When they arrived, they said, “The boy has come,” the mother said, “you are deceiving me my baby has been lost for many days.”

When they reached the big bird, told them, “Mother I had finished your paddy.” The mother was very happy. The bird said, “Let me follow you daughter in law.”The daughter in law was followed. When the bird came up, said, “Give me my fur.” The bird was given its feather and returned home.

18. Ngosha Nseni wa Ng`hwi

Oliho bhabha umo oli nseni ong’hwi. Nalulu nang’hwe goli nimo go bhuli lushiku, ubhabha ng’wenuyo olishaga bhana bhakwe gulogusena ng’hwi.

Onoga nose bhabha ng’wenuyo ayibhuja, nibhuli shi unene nagalyaga ja gukoyela shiniki, nibhuli abhangi bhagalyaga nulu bhadajile gung’hwi. Bhing’we bhabehi nalabheja ahene unene.

Bhabha ng’wenuyo umugwibhuja gokwe agibhuja nose wiwila hambu hambu ulu gwibhulaga na ng’hana agabhuka kuja kujuyela ng`wipolu, munumo ubhona ahasoga wiwila ahanaha yafayaga ugwibhulagila.

Bhasi agandya gwitungila lugoye lokwe. Aho naho agawilwa na munhu, bhuli nkoyi ulihaya gwibhulaga aliyo utali shiku ningi giki ahawelelo na lulu utali na miaka makumiane iyagwikala umusi.

Munhu ng’wenuyo akanemeja nkoyi lekaga gete ugwibhulaga ulabheja duhu imyaka yagubhutongi. Na hangi naguwile giki ihaha senaga ng’hwi duhu uje kaya, ulu ushika ikaya imhindi ugayele hasokoni ugubhona nkima aguyelaga, nkima ng’wenuyo ng’wilage gwitola.

Ngosha ng’wenuyo ogashika ikaya agibhona imhindi yadilaga aje ugusokoni. Nose yushika imhindi okabhilaga aliwila unkima ng’wenuyo hamo nalinajo ijikolo nagusabha.

Agaja gusokoni ng’hana ugamona unkima ng’wenuyo aguyelayelaga agang’wila goguntola. Nang’hwe adalemile uzunya ng’hana unsola lulu ubhiza na bhakima bhabhili, gukula hangi lulu unigo ubhiza ongeja likoye hangi lingi wendelea duhu ichene ugujisena ing’hwi bhiza bhalya.

Imanila hangi lushiku goshika ugokwe, uiwila bhabehi unene naiwilaga giki nkima ng’wenuyu agunisabya gashi yaya. Unene mumo namalila duhu, gogwibhulaga nayubhela. Bhasi wela usola hangi lugoye guja ng’wipolu gujibhulaga, agiwila naduja uko nalinaja, ihangi nalole kungi.

Agalola ipande lingi ng’hana ugashika halinti limo isoga usola lugoye lokwe ugwasija hangi. Ushika hangi umunhu okwe ung’wila, hama hangi iki nagagulemeja bhuli hangi osola lugoye?

Nang`hwe ushosha nibhulage nkoyi, nagongeja ikoye duhu nagukoyaga noyi. Ubhulingisilo bho ng`wenekili ulu bhutali ugushikila agalemejiwa nulo kabhili uwilwa giki solaga ahenaho yiyo juba yina bhugota ulu ushika ikaya ugogwandya nuguwila giki, wibhuje ning’wa nani aliho nsatu, nkoyi unene nagubhiza nang’ho bhulikanza ulu ugashika aho linsatu uguyulola bhulingisilo bhone mumakono ulugikalile kabhuli lushiku mumo agupila ulu kikalila guntwe mumo udupila ulu gikalila gumagulu ng’wenuyo agupila.

Huna ungosha ung`habhi ng’wenuyo agasena ng’hwi hangi usola na jubha uja kaya ukawila obheja nkoyi. Bhulekana ogashika ikaya wandya lulu gwiganika. Ng’wa nani aliho nsatu, uwilwa aliho ng’wa mbati.

Agabhuka gujunola unsatu ng’wenuyo, ogashika ho ubhagisha ubhabhuja ginehe akajile ka nsatu, ginehe amadilo gakwe? Nabho bhushosha yii bhabha, gadulindilile ikanza duhu. Nalulu mayu nalina bhugota bhogunagula unsatu.

Ngikulu uhaya yii, ugudula bhabha, ngosha uhaya nagudula duhu. Ngikulu uhaya nahene lulu bhabha nagulage. Haho na haho wingila umukaya ugunola unsatu. Wandya gulola ishimanyikijo jakwe ulola uguntwe ugaiwa, ulola gumagulu ugabhona amakono, umana agumpija.

Huna nilikanza linilo agang’wisha bhugota. Ubhawila giki nakwiza nanole makanza. Ushoka kaya ugaja gujusena ng’hwi. Ugasenha ushoka mhindi, uja hangi gujunola unsatu okwe, ugansanga ihali yakwe nsoga, odulaga naguyomba.

Ubhabha ng’wenuyo ulomba minzi ung’wisha hangi ubhugota, ubhawila giki ntondo dilu nagwiza nanole, uja kaya gujulala. Bhogela uja gujunola hangi unsanga alimila ogema nagushimiza. Kaya yayegaga no. Ung’wisha hangi ubhugota, ubhawila hangi giki, naje bhabehi nagaje gung’hwi. Agalemejiwa yaya bhabha, igishaga undegeleke unsatu.

Agandya gwibhula uhaya giki yaya bhabha nalekile shibhi no ikaya, namhala agamuja shibhi ki bhabha olekile? Nalekaga nduhu nulu shiliwa ugukaya.

Bhabha ng’wenuyo agadahilwa shiliwa magunila abhili na hela ya gutumamila bhuchalilwa ikaya. Agikala ho makanza ga shiku idatu ubhiza opila gete unsatu okwe.

Agandya guibhuja hangi, kimba ulu ng’wanani hangi. Wiganika ng’hana ing’wa ntemi aliho ng’wana okwe osata. Halushiku lo kane ubhawila abhaha kaya yiniyo, abehi nayeleyele kunu hadoo.

Nabho bhunzunilija ukubha ajile mpaga ng’wa Ntemi ugashiga upiga hodi ugihaya imihayo yakwe ahanyango. Uwilwa giki yichene bhabha ugamanile amalagilo ga ntemi?

Bhagabhulagagwa ulu uduma ugumpija ung’wana ontemi. Ngosha ng’wenuyo agahaya nahene duhu, iki ulu nadumaga, una lulu bhaganzunilija aha nyango wingila na ushika guko lintemi. Ung’wila makulu gakwe.

Aho ong`wila Ntemi uchalwa gunumba agabhitiwa gumpindo ugolekejiwa mitwe ya bhafumu abhobhanduma ‘ipindilijije pye indugu ya numba. Aho obhona uchalwa gujunola unsati, ushigila gulola ulumeng’ho ulo agalolaga ubhona giki agumpija.

Haho na haho wandya gung’winha bhugota, ung`wene shiku ibhili ubhiza opilaga gete. Ntemi agayega no agang`winha manong`ho gabhuli mbika. Nagubhejiwa ibarabara mpaga ha ng`wakwe, ugazengelwa na manumba. Welelo nhale ungosha ng´wenuyo ihaha goshika gobhusabhi agigasha ikanza lya ng’weji gumo haho.

Unsati ubhiza oshokelwa nu mili gokwe. Hanaho agabhiza opandika inong’ho hangi winhwa ng`waniki gutola ashishe bhadatu lulu. Na ubhegejiwa nu Ntemi liwinga litale no. Na bhagasamva iti hado.

Ili nong’ho ilingi utinilwa bhupande ubhiza Ntemi. Ngosha ng’wenuyo igashila imyaka yakwe wiyibhile nguno agabhiza nabhuyegi wibha nugogwinija.

Lushiku na lushiku ajile gujuyela alinudeleva okwe ubhabhona bhanhu bhalisimba jigila, ung`wila udeleva giki obhabhona abhanhu abho bhalisimba jigila?

Umunhu ng´wenuyo umuja onimana? Nang’hwe ushosha, yaya nadugumanaga, umunhu ng’wenuyo wandya gwiyeleza, nunene uyo nagagutinila lugoye munhingo, uguhaya lulu nkoyi ishiku jako jashilaga lelo, haho na haho ucha na gucha.

Kiswahili: Mwanaume Mkata Kuni

Basi alianza kujifungia kamba yake. Hapo hapo aliambiwa na mtu, “kwa nini bwana unataka kujiua wakati bado una siku nyingi hivi za kuishi duniani, basi bado una miaka arobaini ya kuishi duniani.”

Mtu huyo alimkataza kujiua, na kumwambia kuwa, atafanikiwa kwenye miaka ya mbele. “Pia nikuambie hivi, sasa kata kuni tu uende nyumbani, ukifika nyumbani jioni ukatembee sokoni utaona mwanamke akitembea, mwanamke huyo umwambie muoane.”

Mwanaume huyo alipofika nyumbani, aliiona jioni kama imechelewa ili aende sokoni. Mwishowe jioni ikafika akiwa na hamu akifikiri kuwa mwanamke huyo labda ndiye mwenye mali, hivyo, atatajirika.

Alienda sokoni kweli, akamuona mwanamke huyo akitembea tembea, akamweleza suala la kumuoa. Naye hakutaa alikubali kweli akamchukua, akawa na wake wawili. Naye akajibu, “nijiue bwana, naongeza tatizo tu nahangaika mno.” Lengo la mwenyewe kama halijafikia, alikatazwa na mara ya pili, akaambiwa hivi, “chukua hapo hiyo chupa ina dawa, kama ukifika nyumbani, jambo la kwanza nakuambia hivi, ujiulize kwa fulani kuna mgonjwa, bwana mimi nitakuwa nawe kila wakati ukifika kwa mgonjwa.

Utakuwa unaangalia lengo langu kwenye mikono maisha ya kila siku. Lakini kama mikono ikiwa kichwani, maana yake, mgonjwa hatapona, lakini ikiwa miguuni, mgonjwa huyo atapona.

Ndipo mwanaume huyo maskini alikata kuni tena akachukua chupa akaenda nyumbani akakaambia “asante bwana.” Wakaachana, alipofika nyumbani, alianza basi kufikiria. “Kwa nani kuna mgonjwa?” Akaambiwa “yuko kwa fulani.”

Akamnywesha tena ile dawa, akawaambia tena hivi, “niende jamani nikaende kwenye kuni.” Alikatazwa, “hapana baba, kaa umsikilize mgonjwa.”

Alianza kuwaelezea akisema hivi, “hapana baba nimeacha hali mbaya mno nyumbani.” Mzee alimuuliza “hali mbaya ipi baba uliyoacha?” “Nimeacha hakuna hata chakula nyumbani.”

Baba huyo alichotewa chakula magunia mawili na hela ya kutumia walipelekewa nyumbani. Alikaa pale kwa muda wa siku tatu, akawa amepona kabisa yule mgonjwa wake.

Alianza kujiuliza tena, “sijue ni kwa nani tena?” Akafikiri kuwa kwa mfalme kuna mtoto wake aliyeugua. Siku ya nne, aliwaambia, wa kwenye nyumba hiyo, “jamani nitembee tembee huku kidogo.”

Nao walimkubalia akaanza safari ya kwenda mpaka kwa Mfalme, akafika na kubisha hodi, akayasema maneno hayo mlangoni. Akaambiwa kwamba, “hivyo baba unayafahamu lakini masharti ya Mfalme?”

Alipomwambia mfalme, alipelekwa kwenye nyumba akapitishwa kwa nyuma akiizunguka nyumba, akaoneshwa vichwa vya waganga walioshindwa kumponyesha imezungushwa kuta zote za nyumba. Alipoona alipelekwa kumuona mgonjwa, akafikia kuangalia alama yake anayoitumia na kuona kwamba atamponyesha.

Hapo hapo alianza kumpa dawa, mgonjwa huyo siku mbili, akawa amepona kabisa. Mfalme alifurahi mno akampa zawadi za kila aina. Ikatengenezwa barabara ya kutoka pale mpaka kwake, akajengewa na nyumba. Mungu ni mkubwa, mwanaume huyo, sasa umefika wakati wa utajiri, alikaa muda wa mwezi mmoja hapo.

Mgonjwa akawa mzima na afya ya mwili wake ikamrudia. Hapo akapata zawadi tena, akapewa msichana wa kuoa, basi akawa na wanawake watatu. Alifanyia arusi kubwa mno na mfalme.  Wakazawadiwa si kidogo.

Zawadi nyingine alikatiwa sehemu akawa mfalme. Mwanaume huyo iliisha miaka yake akiwa amejisahau kwa sababu ya kuwa na furaha, akasahau na wazo lake la kujinyonga.

Siku moja akiwa katika safari ya kwenda kutembea na dereva wake, aliwaona watu wanachimba kaburi, akamwambia dreva wake hivi, “umewaona watu hao wanaochimba kaburi?”

Dereva wake alimjibu, “twende tutachelewa.” Ndipo wakakimbia kidogo akaona tena watu wamebeba maiti, akamwambia tena dereva wake, “umewaona watu hao waliobeba maiti?” Dereva alijibu, “wewe nawe, tutachelewa.”

Alikimbia kidogo tena, wakamuona mtu akisimamisha gari yao. Akamwambia dereva, naye akasema, “wewe tutachelewa.” Wakakimbia kidogo tena, wakamuona mtu mbele akisimamisha gari yao, akamwambia tena dereva “simama.” Mwishowe, akasimama kweli.

Mtu huyo alimuliza, “umenifahamu?” Naye alijibu, “hapana sikufahamu.” Mtu huyo alianza kujieleza, “ni mimi yule niliyekukatia kamba shingoni, basi ndiyo kusema bwana, siku zako zimeisha leo, hapo hapo alifariki.

ENGLISH: A MAN CUTER OF FIREWOODS

The burden became bigger again adding another problem. So he just kept doing his work of cutting firewoods, selling them and getting money enough to eat.

He was scared again one day when his idea came, he wondered, “My fellow! I thought that this woman would make me laugh or not. I just have my own suicide decision that would be all right. “So the next day, he again took a rope to suicide, thought he would not go to the place where he went, and he went by another way.

He actually went on the other side and found a good tree and closed his cord again. When the man came back again, and he said to him, “Why did I stop you again and pick up the rope?”

He replied, “I am sorry, sir, and I just added a problem to myself.” The goal of himself as it had not yet been met. They embraced him and began his journey to the King, and came and knocked on the door. He said these words at the door. He was told, “but, so do you know father the terms of the King?”

One day while traveling on a walk with his driver, he saw people digging a grave, saying to his driver, “Have you seen those who dig the grave?”

His driver replied, “We are going to be late.” And when they ran away and saw again other people carrying the dead, he said to his driver again, “Have you seen those who carrying the dead one?” The driver replied, “you and I will be late.”

He ran a little longer, and saw a man stopping their car. He told the driver, and he said, “We will be late.” They ran a little further, and saw a man standing in front of their car, and again told the driver “stop.” Finally, he stood up.

Oliho munhu usola panga uja ng’wipolu. Aho oshika ng’wipolu ulinha mu linti wandya gutema ilinti, aliyo aho wandya gutema, utema nilitambi ilo aligasijije.

Liza ling’wana limo lyung’wila giki, bhebhe bhabha ulitema nilinti ilo uligisigije ululilatinike, nu bhebhe guko ugugwa. Ngosha ng’wenuyo adazunije wendelea kutema duhu.

Na ng’hana aho lyatinika nu wei guko. Aho ogwa henaho ubhuka kujunchola ungosha ng`wenuyo mpaga umpandika, ugashiga ung’wila bhebhe bhabha niwilage aho naguchila.

Ngosha ng`wenuyo ushosha, ali unene nagumanila he? Ngosha uyo oliogwaga, uhaya bhebhe bhabha oliomanaga ginehe igiki nagugwa? Ngosha ushosha, ganadamanile bhabha. Ungi uhaya bhebhe niniwilage, ngosha ng’wenuyo oganoga ung’wila giki, nalulu nahene, ugugwa ha nzobe ng’hangala idatu, ulokadatu nuloguchila.

Ngosha ng’wenuyo uzunya wandya guja, aho oshiminza shiminza ubhona nzobhe, ujinyama ugashiga ulinha. Aho olinha henaho inzobhe jandya gupela oganoga ugwa, ubuka ulinha hangi, nzobhe yandya hangi gupela yaganoga nayo yumponya hangi ubhuka, ukala gulinha hangi lukangala lo kadatu.

Yagamponya ubhi ocha ufelwa. Ngosha ng’wenuyo aho obhona giki ocha, umana giki umunhu ng’wenuyo agulabhuka wandya gulija mhembe alihaya giki “ilelo ibilingagi abang’wano ilelo luli lushiku lo kuhimbuka pye abo bachile.”

Ngosha ng’wenuyo ubi ofulwa mbeho upimbuka, wandya gweshemagila kunu alihaya hii! “Babehi hii! Nalikule no.”

Kiswahili: Mtu Akachukua Panga

Hapo zamani alikuwepo mtu, alichukua panga akaenda porini. Alipofika porini alipanda mtini akaanza kukata ule mti akiwa amekalia lile tawi analolikata.

Baadaye alikuja mtu mmoja akamwambia, “wewe baba, unakata tawi ambao umelikalia, likikatika na wewe utaanguka.” Aliendelea kukata tu. Na kweli lilikatika pamoja na naye, alipoanguka papo hapo, alikwenda kumtafuta mwanaume yule mpaka akampata.

Akamwuliza, “wewe baba niambie siku zangu za kufa.” Mwanaume huyo alisema, “mimi ninajuaje?” Mwanaume huyo aliyeanguka alisema, “wewe baba ulijuaje kuwa nitaanguka?” “Mimi baba siwezi nikajua.” Mwingine alisema, “ebu niambie.”

Mwanaume huyo mwishoe alimwambia hivi, “kwa hiyo wewe utaanguka kwenye punda mara tatu, safari ya tatu ndiyo ya kufa.” Mwanaume huyo alikubali akaanza kutembea tembea akamwona punda na alipomwona punda alimsogelea. Akamshika akapanda mgongoni.

Punda akaanza kukimbia mwishowe akaanguka, alipoinuka akapanda tena, punda akaanza kukimbia, alipochoka naye akamwangusha tena. Akaamka na akapitiliza kupanda tena. Mara ya tatu alipoangushwa akawa amezimia kidogo.

Mwanaume huyo alipoona kuwa amezimia, akajua kuwa mtu huyo ataumia, akaanza kupiga mbiu huku akisema, “watu wote mkusanyike leo ni siku ya kufufuka kwa watu wote walikukufa.” Mwanamume huyo akawa amepata hewa akafufuka, na kuanza kuhema na huku akisema, “aisi, jamani nilikuwa mbali mno.”

ENGLISH: A MAN WHO TOOK A SWORD

In the past there was a man, who took a sword and went to the wild. When he reached there, he climbed a tree and began to cut off the branch on which he was sitting.person with sword
