99. Yang’wa Kabundi

Yaliho ndimu imo ndoni yitanagwa Kabundi. Indimu yiniyo bhalibhitogilwe noi abhanhu. Indimu yiniyo yali na miso matale na gaza.

Lushigu lumo agatung’wana na munhu agamuja, “Nywani kabundi nibhuli amiso gako galigaza?” Kabundi agashosha, “Bana bhebhee! Amiso gane galigaza kulwa nguno ya linyanza lwa pwani!”

Munhu umo agabhuja, “Ehe, oshiga koi ukunuko pwani na gulibhona ilinyanza?” Kabundi agayomba, yaya. Nadinashiga ukunuko pwani nulu nadinadula gulibhona ilinyanza! Aliyo abho bhamala gushiga ipwani, bhalihaya giki ilinyanza ligabhalaluchaga amiso abhanhu.

 

Kiswahili: Ya Kabundi

Kulikuwapo na mnyama mmoja mdogo, aliitwa Kabundi. Mnyama huyu alipendwa mno na watu. Mnyama huyo alikuwa na macho makubwa na mekundu.

Siku moja alikutana na mtu akamwuliza., “Rafiki Kabundi kwa nini macho yako ni mekundu?” Bwana wee! Macho yangu ni mekundu kwa sababu ya bahari huko pwani! Akamuuliza tena, “Je, umewahi kufika huko pwani na kuiona bahari?”

Kabundi alikana, hapana. Sijafika huko pwani wala sijawahi kuiona bahari! Lakini wale waliopata kwenda pwani, wanasema kuwa, bahari huwafanya watu kuwa na macho mekundu.
