981. OZUB’ANGAGA.

Olihoyi nkima umo uyo ozugaga jiliwa. Unkima ng’wunuyo, ogazuga jiliwa jib’isi kunguno ya bhuzuki bhokwe ubho sagala bhunubho. Uweyi agenheleja bhanhu gwikala na nzala kunguno ya guduma ugujilya ijiliwa jakwe ijib’isi jinijo. Hunagwene abhanhu bhagang’wila giki, “ozub’angaga.”

Akahayile kenako, kagalenganijiyagwa kuli munhu uyo adatumamaga chiza imilimo yakwe, umukikalile kakwe. Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agatumamaga sagala sagala imilimo, iyo ilikihamo na bhulimi, na bhusuluja, kunguno ya gugayiwa bhudiliji bho milimo yakwe yiniyo. Uweyi agagayiyagwa ijiliwa jagulya aha kaya yakwe, kunguno ya gugayiwa bhudiliji bho milimo yakwe yiniyo, umuwikaji bhokwe.

Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agikolaga nu nkima uyo agazuga jiliwa jib’isi, kunguno nu weyi agatumamaga sagala sagala bho nduhu uguidilila chiza imilimo yakwe. Hunagwene abhanhu bhagang’wilaga giki, “ozub’angaga.”

Akahayile kenako kalanga bhanhu higulya ya gwigulambija guitumama imilimo yabho bho guidilila chiza, kugiki bhadule gupandika jiliwa na sabho ja gubhambilija ugujibheja chiza ikaya jabho, umuwikaji bhobho.

KISWAHILI: UMEHARIBU.

Alikuwepo mwanamke mmoja aliyekuwa akipika chakula. Mwanzake huyo, alipika hovyo chakula hicho kikawa kibichi kwa sababu ya kukosa umakini wa kujali vizuri kazi yake. Yeye alisababisha watu kushinda na njaa kwa sababu ya kushindwa kukila chakula chake hicho kibichi. Ndiyo maana watu walimwambia kwamba, “umeharibu.”

Msemo huo, hulinganishwa kwa mtu yule asiyeyatekeleza vizuri majukumu yake, katika maisha yake. Mtu huyo, hufanya kazi zake hovyo hovyo, ambazo ni pamoja na zile za kilimo na biashara, kwa sababu ya kutokujali kwake kazi zake hizo. Yeye hukosa chakula nyumbani kwake kwa sababu ya kukosa umakini wake huo, katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yake, maishani mwake.

Mtu huyo, hufanana na yule mwanamke aliyepika hovyo chakula chake kikawa kibichi, kwa sababu naye hufanya kazi zake hovyo, katika maisha yake. Ndiyo maana watu humwambia kwamba, “umeharibu.”

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kujibidisha kuyatekeleza majukumu yao kwa kuyajali vizuri, ili waweze kupata mafanikio mengi zaidi, maishani mwao.

ENGLISH: YOU HAVE SPOILT EVERYTHING.

There was a woman who was cooking. Nonetheless she spoilt her food because she did not pay attention to her works. She caused the people to go hungry because they could not eat her raw food. That is why they told her that, “You have spoilt everything.”

This saying is compared to a person who does not fulfill his/her responsibilities well in life. This person performs his/her duties negligently, including those of agriculture and trade, because of laziness. He/she misses food at home because of such lack of focus in the discharge of his/her responsibilities in life.

This person is like the woman who spoilt food in her way of cooking, because he/she also does not pay attention in his/her works. That is why people say to his/her that, “You have spoilt everything.”

This saying teaches people on how to work hard enough to fulfill well their responsibilities by taking good care of them, so that they can have more success in their lives.
