Imbuli igalyaga mafa ayo galibihi nayo aho agikalaga. Aliyo lulu, imbuli iyo idafulaga amafa genayo, igajaga gujugalya ayo gali kule nayo. Amafa genayo, gagabhizaga ga mbuli jingi ijo jigayilemejaga imbuli yiniyo bho gwikenya nayo. Hunagwene abhanhu bhagayomgaga giki, “mbuli iyo idafulaga mafa agalibihi nayo ng’halilo gulya malwa.”
Ulusumo lunulo, lugalenanijiyagwa kuli munhu uyo adafulaga ni jikolo ijo alijo, umukikalile kakwe. Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agajilekagaga ijikolo jakwe ogasola ja bhangi, kunguno ya lwaha lokwe lunulo, ulo gwikumva sabho ja bhiye. Abhinikili bha jikolo jinijo, bhaganemejaga ugujisola mpaga nose bhikenya nang’hwe. Uweyi agaikenagulaga ikaya yakwe bho guyenhela mamihayo ga sagala, kunguno ya bhujidafula bhokwe bhunubho, umukikalile kakwe.
Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agikolaga ni mbuli iyo yalidafulaga amafa gayo, kunguno nuweyi adafulaga ijikolo ijo alinajo, umuwikaji bhokwe. Hunagwene abhanhu bhagang’wilaga giki, “mbuli iyo idafulaga mafa agalibihi nayo ng’halilo gulya malwa.”
Ulusumo lunulo, lolanga bhanhu higulya ya kuleka lwaha lo gwikumbwa jikolo ja bhichacho, umuwikaji bhobho, kugiki bhadule gujibheja bho gujilela chiza ikaya jabho, umukikalile kabho.

Mbuzi hula nyazi ambazo ziko karibu naye pale alipo. Lakini basi, mbuzi yule aliyetosheka na nyazi hizo, huenda kula zile zilizoko mbali naye. Nyazi hizo, huzuiliwa na mbuzi walioko kwenye maeneo hayo kwa kupigana na mbuzi huyo. Ndiyo maana watu husema kwamba, “mbuzi asiyeridhika na nyazi zilizoko karibu naye hula mapigano.”
Methali hiyo, hulinganishwa kwa mtu yule ambaye huwa hatosheki na mali alizonazo, katika maisha yake. Mtu huyo, huziacha mali zake hizo na kwenda kuchukua mali za wenzake kwa sababu ya tamaa yake mbaya aliyo nayo. Wenye mali hizo, humzuia kuzichukua mpaga kufikia hatua ya kupigana naye. Yeye huikaribu familia yake kwa kuiletea ugonvi wa hovyo unaosababishwa na tamaa yake hiyo mbaya, katika maisha yake.
Mtu huyo, hufanana na yule mbuzi asiyetosheka na nyazi zake, kwa sababu naye huwa hatosheki na vitu vyake, katika maisha yake. Ndiyo maana watu humwambia kwamba, “mbuzi asiyeridhika na nyazi zilizoko karibu naye hula mapigano.”
Methali hiyo, hufundisha watu juu ya kuachana na tamaa za kuchukua mali za wenzao, katika maisha yao, ili waweze kuzilea vizuri familia zao, maishani mwao.
ENGLISH: A GOAT THAT IS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE GRASSES THOSE ARE NEAR ALWAYS ENDS UP IN PROBLEMS.
A goat eats grasses that are near it. But then, the goat that is not satisfied with those grasses may eat the ones which are far away from it. Local goats from that area will stop such goat from eating them by fighting against it. That is why people say, “A goat that is not satisfied with the grasses those are near always ends up in problems.”
This proverb is likened to a man who is never satisfied with possessions which he has in his life. This man leaves his possessions and goes to take properties of his fellows because of his evil desires.
The owners, however, prevent him from taking their properties to the point of fighting against him. He destroys his family by inflicting unbridled lust on it, which is the result of his own evil desires in his life.
This person is like the goat that was not satisfied with grasses which were near to it, because he is also not satisfied by his possessions in life. That is why people say to him, “A goat that is not satisfied with the grasses those are near always ends up in problems.”
This proverb teaches people about giving up the desire of taking properties of others in their lives, so that they can morally raise their family members in their societies.
