Chanzo cha msemo huo huongelea bhacheza bao. Wacheza bao hao hulicheza bao hilo kwa kushindana kwa sababu ya kupenda kupoteza muda wao katika mchezo huo. Ndiyo maana watu hao huhimizana kucheza kwa kusema kwamba, “njooni tuliume.”

Msemo huo hulinganishwa kwa watu wale ambao huuchezea muda wao kwa  kufanya kazi zisizo na faida kwenye familia zao, katika maisha yao. Watu hao huuchezea hovyo muda wao wa kufanya kazi zisizo na faida kwao badala ya kuutumia muda huo kufanya kazi zenye manufaa kwao, kwa sababu ya uvivu wao huo wa kazi, maishani mwao. Wao husumbuliwa na tatizo la njaa kwenye familia zao kwa sababu ya uvivu wao wa kazi, kwa kuuchezea hovyo muda wao wa kufanya kazi, katika maisha yao.

Watu hao, hufanana na wale wacheza bao waliouchezea muda wao katika mchezo huo badala ya kufanya kazi zenye faida kwao, kwa sababu nao huuchezea hovyo muda wao kwa kufanya kazi zisizo na manufaa kwenye familia zao, maishani mwao. Ndiyo maana wao huhimizana kuuchezea muda wao kwa kusema kwamba, “njooni tuliume.”

Msemo huo hufundisha watu juu ya kuacha kuuchezea muda wao wa kufanya kazi kwa kufanya kazi zisizo na manufaa kwao, ili waweze kufanya kazi zenye manufaa kwenye familia zao, maishani mwao.

The origin of this saying refers to traditional game player. These people play the traditional game by competing with each other because they like to waste their time in the game. That is why these people encourage each other to play by saying that, “Come, let us work together.”

This saying is related to those people who waste their time by doing useless things in their families. These people waste their time by doing those useless things instead of using that time for doing useful works for them, because of their laziness in their lives. They are troubled by difficult of hunger in their families because of their laziness of wasting their time in their lives.

These people are similar to those traditional game players who wasted their time by doing playing that game instead of doing useful works for them, because they also waste their time by doing useless things for their families, in their lives. That is why they encourage each other to waste their time by saying, “Come, let us work together.”

This saying imparts in people an idea of stopping wasting their working time by doing works which are not beneficial to them, so that they can do useful works in their family lives.

Akahayile kenako kagalenganijiyagwa kuli munhu uyo alina witegeleja bho guitumama chiza imilimo yakwe, umuwikaji bhokwe. Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agabhalangaga abhanhu bhakwe gutumama chiza imilimo yabho bho guitumama jelwa ng’holo imilimo yakwe, umuwikaji bhokwe. Chanzo cha msemo huo huongelea upaliliaji mzuri wa palizi aliokuwa nao mtu fulani. Mtu huyo alilipalia shamba lake vizuri bila ya kufukia majani kwa sababu alitaka kwamba kazi yake hiyo iende vizuri. Ndiyo maana alisema kwamba, “mpaka nihakikishe.”

Msemo huo hulinganishwa kwa mtu yule ambaye ana umakini wa kuyatekeleza vizuri majukumu yake, katika maisha yake. Mtu huyo, huwafundisha watu wake kufanya kazi vizuri kwa kuyatekeleza kiaminifu majukumu yake kwa sababu ya umakini wake huo maishani mwake. Yeye hutajirika sana katika familia yake hiyo kwa sababu ya umakini wake huo wa kutekeleza majukumu yake kwa uaminifu, katika maisha yake hayo.

Mtu huyo, hufanana na yule aliyeipalilia vizuri palizi ya shamba lake, kwa sababu naye huyatekeleza majukumu yakwe kwa uaminifu mpaga anatajirika katika familia yake, maishani mwake. Ndiyo maana husema kwamba, “mpaka nihakikishe.”

Msemo huo hufundisha watu juu ya kuwa na umakini wa kuyatekeleza kiaminifu majukumu yao, ili waweze kupata mafanikio ya kuwa na mali nyingi, katika familia zao, maishani mwao.

ENGLISH: UNTIL I MAKE SURE.

The origin of this saying refers to the good weeding that a person had. This person weeded his field well without covering it with leaves because he wanted his work to nicely go. That is why he said that, “Until I make sure.”

This saying is equated to a person who is attentive to carrying out his duties well, in his life. Such person teaches his people to work well by faithfully carrying out his duties because of his attentiveness in his life. He becomes very rich in his family because of his attentiveness in carrying out his duties faithfully, in his life.

This person is like the one who weeded his field well, because he also faithfully carries out his duties to the point of becoming rich in his family, in his life. That is why he says that, “Until I make sure.”

This proverb imparts in people an idea of being careful to faithfully fulfill their duties, so that they can achieve success in having various possessions in their family lives.

Walikuwepo wakulima kwenye kijiji cha Nzega. Watu hao walizielewa alama za kuanza kulima kwa sababu ya umakini wao. Wao waliangalia mawingu ya mvua yalipoonekana walielewa kwamba umefika muda wa masika, kwa sababu walitaka kuanza vizuri kazi zao. Ndiyo maana walipoyaona mawingu hayo walihimizana kuanza kulima kwa kusema kwamba, “imeonesha mawingu.”

Msema huo hulinganishwa kwa watu wanaouelewa vizuri muda wa kuanza kazi zao hizo, katika kazi zao. Watu hao, huanza kuyatekeleza majukumu yao mpaka wanayamaliza vizuri unapofika tu muda wake, kwa sababu ya umakini wao huo, maishani mwao. Wao hupata mali nyingi sana katika familia zao kwa sababu ya umakini wao huo, katika maisha yao.

Watu hao hufanana na wale waliouelewa vizuri muda wa kuanza kulima inapokaribia mvua kunyesha, kwa sababu nao huyatekeleza majukumu yao unapofika muda wake wa kuyaanza majukumu hao, maishani mwao. Ndiyo maana wao husema kwamba, “imeonesha mawingu.”

Msemo huo, hufundisha wafanyakazi juu ya kuwa na umakini wa kuyatekeleza vizuri majukumu yao unapofika muda wake ili waweze kupata mali nyingi kwenye familia zao, maishani mwao.

There were farmers in a village of Nzega. Those people understood signs of starting farming because of their attentiveness. They looked at rain clouds and understood that it was time for rainy season, because they wanted to start their works well. That is why when they saw clouds they encouraged each other enough to start farming by saying, “it has shown clouds.”

This saying is related to people who understand well the time of starting their works, in their economic activities. Those people, start carrying out their duties until they finish them well when such time comes, because of their attentiveness, in their lives. They earn a lot of wealth in their families because of their attentiveness, in their lives.

These people are similar to those who understood well the time of starting farming when the rain is about to fall, because they also carry out their duties when the time comes to start those duties, in their lives. That is why they say, “it has shown clouds.”

This saying teaches workers of about being careful enough to fulfill their duties well when the time comes so that they can obtain a number of treasures for their families, in their lives.

Abhanhu bhenabho bhagilomelaga kihamo mpaka bhizunilija chiza umubhutumami bho milimo yabho iyo bhagayitumamaga bho gwizunilija chiza, kunguno ya witogwi bhobho bhunubho, umuwikaji bhobho. Abhoyi bhagikalaga na bhuyegi bhutale umukaya jabho kunguno ya witogwi bhobho bhunubho ubho guhoya kihamo na gwizunilija chiza, umukikalile kabho kenako.

Watu hao, huongea pamoja na kuelewa vizuri katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yao ambayo huyatekeleja kwa kukubaliana vizuri, kwa sababu ya upendo wao huo wa kuongea pamoja na kuelewana vizuri, maishani mwao. Wao huishi kwa furaha kubwa katika familia zao, kwa sababu ya upendo wao huo wa kuongea pamoja na kuelewana vizuri, katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yao hayo.

Watu hao, hufanana na wale marafiki walioongea na kuelewa kwa upendo katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yao, kwa sababu nao huongea pamoja na kukubalina kwa upendo, katika maisha yao. Ndiyo maana watu husema kwamba, “watu hao wana mazungumzo.”

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kuwa na upendo wa kuwawezesha kuongea pamoja na kuelewana vizuri, katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yao, ili waweze kuishi kwa furaha kubwa katika familia zao.

ENGLISH: THESE PEOPLE HAVE A CONVERSATION.

Once upon a time, there were people who were friends. They talked together and nicely understood each other because they truly loved each other in their lives. Eventually, they became known in their village because of their good conversations, in their lives. That is why people said about them that, “those people have a conversation.”

This saying is related to a family of people who truly love each other in their lives. Those people, talk together and understand each other in the implementing their responsibilities which they carry out in good agreement, because of their true love of talking together and understanding each other, in their lives. They live happily in their families, because of their true love of talking together and understanding each other in the implementing their tasks.

Those people, resemble those friends who talked and understood with true love in fulfilling their responsibilities, because they also lovely talk together and agree with each other, in their lives. That is why people say about them that, “those people have a conversation.”

This adage convey in people an idea of truly loving each other enough to nicely communicate and understand each other  in the execution of their duties, so that they can live happily in their families.

KISWAHILI: MTU HUYU AMERUDISHWA KULELEWA UPYA.

Mtu aliyerudishwa kulelewa upya ni mwanamke aliyepelekwa kwa wazazi wake kutoka kwenye familia ya mume wake kwenda kupewa malezi upya. Mwanamke huyo aliwashinda wanafamilia ya mume wake kwa sababu ya kiburi chake. Yeye alirudishwa nyumbani kwa wazazi wake ili akalelewe upya. Ndiyo maana watu walimwambia kwamba, “mtu huyu amerudishwa kulelewa upya.”

Msemo huo hulinganishwa kwa mtu yule asiyeyajali vizuri malezi ya wakubwa wake katika maisha yake. Mtu huyo, huwa hayasikilizi vizuri malezi ya wakubwa wake hao kwa sababu ya kutokujali kwake, maishani mwake. Yeye hushindwa kuilea vyema familia yake kwa sababu ya kushindwa kuyasikiliza vizuri malezi ya wakubwa wake hao, katika maisha yake.

Mtu huyo hufanana na yule mwanamke aliyerudishwa kutoka ukweni kwenda kwa wazazi wake kwa lengo la kulelewa upya, kwa sababu naye huwa hayajali vizuri malezi ya viongozi wake mpaka anashindwa kuilea vizuri familia yake hiyo, maishani mwake. Ndiyo maana watu humwambia kwamba, “mtu huyu amerudishwa kulelewa upya.”

Msemo huo hufundisha watu juu ya kuyasikiliza na kuyaishi vizuri malezi ya viongozi wao, ili waweze kuzilea vyema familia zao, maishani mwao.

ENGLISH: THIS PERSON HAS BEEN RE-RAISED.

A person who has been re-raised is a woman who was sent to her parents from her husband’s family to be nurtured again. This woman overcame her husband’s family because of her pride. She was sent back to her parents’ home to be re-raised. That is why people said about her that, “This person has been re-raised.”

This saying is equaled to a person who does not pay proper attention to upbringings of his elders in his life. This person does not listen well to the nurtures of his leaders because of his indifference, in his life. He fails to raise his family well because of his failure to listen well to that rearing of his seniors, in his life.

This person resembles the woman who was sent by her husband back to her parents for the purpose of being nurtured again, because he also does not pay proper attention to the upbringing of his leaders to the point of failing to raise his family well. That is why people say about him that, “This person has been re-raised.”

This saying teaches people about listening to and live well the upbringing of their leaders, so that they can raise their families well in their lives.
