Imbuki ya kahayile kenako ilolile bhulagiji bho jitungulu bho ng’wa munhu nhebhe. Umunhu ng’winuyo agasanga abhiye bhalimalija gulya jiliwa jasagaga jigehu duhu.

Ijiliwa ijigehu jinijo jigalenganijiyagwa na jitunduhu ja nhumbi kunguno jili gung’wisho go mili go ng’wumbi yiniyo. Uweyi agagelela gulya jutundulu duhu ugalala. Hunagwene abhanhu bhagayomba giki, “agalagila jitundulu gete.”

Akahayile kenako kagalenganijiyagwa kuli munhu uyo agakelejaga ugushika uko milimo yakwe, umukikalile kakwe. Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agajaga ukumilimo yakwe bho gukeleja bhuli lushiku kunguno ya bhukokolo bhokwe bhunubho. KISWAHILI: ALISHINDIA KIWILIWILI CHA MWISHONI KABISA.

 Chanzo cha msemo huo, huangalia ushindiaji wa kiwiliwili wa mtu fulani. Mtu huyo, aliwakuta wenzake wakimalizia kula chakula kikiwa kimebakia kidoto tu.

Chakula hicho kidogo, hulinganishwa na kiwiliwili cha panzi ambacho kiko sehemu ya mwisho wa mwili wa panzi huyo. Yeye alikomea kula kiwiliwili hicho tu akalala. Ndiyo maana watu walisema kwamba, “ameshindia kiwiliwili cha mwishoni kabisa.”

Msemo huo, hulinganishwa kwa mtu yule ambaye huchelewa kufika kwenye kazi zake, katika maisha yake. Mtu huyo, huenda kwenye kazi zake hizo kwa kuchelewa kila siku kwa sababu ya uvivu wake huo. Yeye hushindwa kupata chakula kingi kila mwaka kwa sababu ya kuchelewa kulima kwake huko kwenye familia yake hiyo.

Mtu huyo, hufanana na yule aliyewakuta wenzake wakila akakomea kula kiwiliwili tu, kwa sababu naye huchelewa kwenda kwenye kazi zake mpaka mwishowe anashindwa kupata chakula cha kutosha kila mwaka. Ndiyo maana watu humwambia kwamba, “ameshindia kiwiliwili cha mwishoni kabisa.”

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kuwahi kwenda kuyatekeleza majukumu yao, ili waweze kupata mafanikio mengi katika kazi zao hizo, maishani mwao.

ENGLISH: HE TRULY SPENT THE WHOLE DAY AFTER EATING JUST A LAST BODY PART.

 This saying looks at spending day of a certain person who ate a small portion of food. Such man found his colleagues finishing eating who only ate a small left portion.

This little portion of food is equated to a body of a grasshopper which is at an end of its body. He only ate that body and fell asleep. That is why people said that, “he truly spent the whole day after eating just a last body part.”

This saying is related to a person who is always late to his works in his life. Such person goes to his work late every day because of his laziness. He fails to get much food every year because of such delay in his family farming.

This person is like the one who found his colleagues finished eating food who ate only the small last body part, because he is also late to his works until finally he fails to get enough food every year. That is why people tell him that, “he truly spent the whole day after eating just a last body part.”

This saying teaches people about ever going to carry out their duties on time, so that they can get a lot of success in their works, in their lives.

Akahayile kenako kahoyelile wilenganija bho ng’wa munhu ni we. Olihoyi munhu uyo wilenganijaga ni we kunguno ya gugwiganikila umili gokwe  giki gulindamu guti liwe umuwikaji bhokwe. Hunagwene ooyombaga giki, “nalingala iwe.”

Akahayile kenako, kagaleganijiyagwa kuli munhu uyo alina na bhudula bho gutumama nimo ndamu umukikalile kakwe. Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agatumamaga milimo midamu bho gutumila nguzu ningi na wiyumilija bhutale kunguno ya bhukamu bhokwe bhunubho. Uweyi agapandikaga sabho ningi aka hakaya yakwe yiniyo kunguno ya wiyumilija bhokwe bhunubho, umubhutumami bho milimo yakwe.

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kujibidisha kufanya kazi zao kwa nguvu na uvumilivu mkubwa, ili waweze kupata mafanikio mengi, katika familia zao.

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kuacha kuwadharau watu wao kwa kuongea nao vizuri katika maisha yao, ili waweze kusaidiana vizuri, katika kuzilea familia zao.

Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agikolaga nuyo agalimila ngunda ntale bho gutina kabala kado kado mpaga nose ugumala chiza, kunguno nu weyi agatumamaga milimo mitale bho gutumila bhugagaja na wiyumilija bhokwe chiza mpaga nose oyimala chiza, umubhutumami bhokwe bhunubho. Hunagwene agayombaga giki, “yiniyo soloba.”

Akahayile kenako, kalanga bhanhu higulya ya gutumama milimo yabho bho gutumila bhugagaja na wiyumilija bhutale mpaga bhayimale chiza, kugiki bhadule kupandika matwajo mingi, umukaya jabho jinijo.

KISWAHILI: HIKI NI KIPANDE.

Kipande ni sehemu ndogo ambayo mtu huifanyia kazi ili aweze kumaliza hicho na kuchukua kingine ndani ya shamba kubwa. Mtu huyo, hufanana na yule aliyepalilia shamba kubwa kwa kukata kipande kidogo kidogo mpaka akalimaliza shamba lote, kwa sababu naye hufanya kazi kubwa kwa kutumia ubunifu na uvumilivu wake, mpaka anazimaliza vizuri, katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yake hayo. Ndiyo maana yeye huwaambia watu kwamba, “hiki ni kipande.”

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kufanya kazi kubwa kwa kutumila ubunifu na uvumilivu wao vizuri mpaka wanazimaliza, ili waweze kupata mafanikio mengi katika familia zao.

Umunhu ng’wunuyo, agikolaga nuyo olina sata iyo igankola kulikanza liliihu, kunguno nuweyi, agitaga miito gabhubhi bho nduhu ugugaleka uluohugulwa na bhiye, umuwikaji bhokwe bhunubho. Hunagwene abhanhu bhaganyombaga giki, “yiniyo ndwala.”

Msemo huo, hufundisha watu juu ya kuacha tabia ya kutenda matendo maovu kwa kutenda matendo mema kila wakati, ili waweze kuzilea vyema, familia zao, maishani mwao.
