KISWAHILI: UMETHUBUTU KUINGIA KWA SHOLOMA!
Alikuwepo mtu mmoja kwenye kijiji fulani aliyeitwa Sholoma.

ENGLISH: YOU HAVE DARED TO GO INTO SHOLOMA!
There was a man who lived in a certain village whose name was Sholoma. Such man was a rich one in livestock and other various possessions. People were very afraid of him because it was difficult for them dare going to get married with any member of his house.
One day a young man who lived in that village dared to go there. To his surprise he was embarrassed. But to the amazement of the people, the boy dared to enter such house. That is why they said to him in amazement, “you have dared to go into Sholoma!”
This saying is applied to the person who forces himself to do things which are beyond his ability, in his life. Such person fails to carry out what he sets out to do due to his an inability to complete it. He suffers from several harms, including hunger, due to his inability to produce crops on his farms.
This man resembles the young man who was ashamed after daring to come into Sholoma’s house, because he also forces himself to do things which are beyond his capacity in his life. That is why people say to him in amazement, “you have dared to go into Sholoma!”
This saying teaches people on how to work hard by doing works which are within their abilities by stopping wasting time in doing what they cannot afford, so that they can be successful enough to develop well their families.
